TF4: Library

Task Force 4 will in all likelihood commence its work in early 2005. This task force is to work on the establishment of a 'library' containing summaries of LCAs on specific topics or product groups.

The aim is to sum up results of the many completed LCAs so as to give quick, reliable guidance to potential users, but also to house the reference material for the LCA community.

The process of compiling and analysing sets of LCAs on specific products is proposed as an ideal vehicle for capacity building. Teams from LCA-novice and LCA-experienced countries will study the best completed LCAs on a topic, to jointly produce the policy recommendations.

Anyone interested to contribute to this task force should make sure they are on the mailing list of the life cycle initiative on which a call will be made for expressions of interest.
